Medical degree from the University of Brasília and PhD in Clinical Endocrinology from UNIFESP. Completed medical residency at the University of Miami and endocrinology training at Baylor College of Medicine. Served as Assistant Professor at MD Anderson Cancer Center, focusing on bone metabolism and endocrine tumors. Since 2010, she has been Head of Endocrinology at ICESP and practices at Oncostar and Vila Nova Star. She plays an active role in international research on thyroid cancer and is a member of ITOG, the World MEN Group, and the ATA Medullary Thyroid Carcinoma Guidelines Task Force.
